Long Breaks and Lots of Shots

Hey it's been more than a month since my last post. Oh well, here's to continuition.

The name of the place is "456 Food Corner" basically it's a typical kopitiam (coffee shop) with it's typical stalls of kolomee, chicken rice, and others stuff which you would normally find in a coffee shop.
That's a nice small bowls of chopped chillies dipped in vinegar.
Hong Kong Noodle House, Saberkas Branch
First these came once you have ordered your drinks and food.
Then came the soup. (Plain soup)
and then this. Its numbered as 57 on their menu. A must try!
Coming here brings back memories of my childhood when I was young.
UITM student selling fish?
For real they really do sell fish in the market. Don't just take my word for it. Have a look.
Wow I want 20 of that. This is called Apam Balik. It's actually flour with peanut and butter. It's so nice that you will get hooked on to it once having the first bite. Now you understand why 20 is needed.
The place this is sold is at Kuching's Sunday Market.
Another shot for satisfaction.
Oh yeah they also sell pork at Sunday Market. Nyam nyam.
STARBUCKS COFFEE ! Yeahh. Iced Caramel Macchiato
Oh look at all that caramel....
A quick stir.
A shot of the sample Roasted Coffee Beans
Another shot.
A change of taste ? Nah I actually wanted to order my usual Kopi O Peng but a slip of my mouth and this came out so what the heck.
All Delight, HuiSing Garden. (Pics of the food were not taken as I was too hungry and forgot about it)
How I long for these .......
Misai Kucing tea. Now this tea is a type of tea which is agriculturally harvested from cats. Yes you heard me right. CATS.
Another shot.
You see the cat fruit?
Another shot of the cat fruit.

01.06.09 One hot Sunday morning

Went here on Sunday morning with my girl for some laksa.
Chong Choon Cafe
Another zoomed out shot of the shop.
This is how the front part of the shop looks like as you enter the premise.
You have to wait in line to get a seat.
Lucky for us we only waited for about 10 minutes and there was a vacant table. Hmmm BOH Brings People Together?
We ordered the giant "Teh C Peng" I purposely put my Nokia 1100 phone next to it to let you all know exactly how big the mug was.
Later in about 5 minutes, laksa came.
You know what they say, a good laksa depends on its soup / gravy.
Half way through my laksa, I was really drenched in my sweat as the weather was hot and the dishes were hot as well. Anyway, a poster on the wall cought my eye.
Hmmm....
My eyes auto zoomed in to get a closer look.
So ordered the 2 half boiled eggs.
I was half way through my laksa when my half boiled eggs came. Ok nevemind. I'll just put my laksa aside for awhile and attend to it later.
Oh yeah nothing like good eggs with soy souce and pepper.
Give them a good stir.
Some more stir..
Gone.
Once everything was done, I was really feeling very hot.
My giant "Teh C Peng" is also feeling abit under the weather I guess.
That night, went to Top Spot for dinner.
These are the only shots I have at the moment.
Top Spot
More shots to come soon ......

A review of "Ang Tau Peng" (use pail) <--- direct translation from Hokkien dialect.
It looks like any ordinary "Ang Tau Peng"
But don't be fooled.
This is the size of a normal "ABC"
Now look at the size of this "Ang Tau Peng" in comparison to my Nokia 1100.
If you are looking for "Ang Tau Peng" in quantity, come to Hui Sing Garden.
Lots of people here at night.
